On Friday, November 18, Le Boukarou hosted the second meeting of the Club of Strategic Issues under the umbrella of the Pricnac project. The topic was « Waste Management: What Impact on Our Society and Environment? »
The youth were given more attention in this edition of the keys to strategic concerns because humanity’s future depends on them. In order to highlight the issues and present solutions that fit with the topic, they were invited to have a discussion about the issues with the experts.
Associations, student leaders working closely with the local government, and Mme. Juveline Ngum, CEO and co-founder of BleagLee, a company that specializes in trash management, were also invited.
With the use of drones to locate waste resources, which is then instantly collected and made available to her company, she has won numerous international prizes for producing environmentally or ecological ovens based on waste collected in the city of Bamenda
After more than two hours of entertainment in between questions, answers, sharing of experiences and propositions of solutions, we came to the conclusion that the populace needs to be instructed and disciplined in the proper disposal of waste since it has an untapped resources that can be used to make fertilizer, gasoline, gas, ecological coal, ovens, and more.
People should also practice self-control because it is up to us to maintain the beauty of our homes, neighborhoods, cities, and nations.
